It is the role of  The Royal Regiment of Canada Association to provide a welcoming home for all members of our regimental family

A Lasting Legacy of Unity:

The Royal Regiment of Canada Association

Welcome to The Royals Association, where our history and our future are intertwined. For generations, The Royal Regiment of Canada has stood as a pillar of service and dedication. The Royal Regiment of Canada Association was born from that same spirit during World War II, initially as a way for our members to stay connected and care for their own. Over the decades, we've evolved, taking on new missions and responsibilities in lockstep with the Regiment's needs.

Our Mission Today:

Supporting The Regiment

As the operational tempo of The Royal Regiment of Canada increases, the Association has stepped up to try to ease the burden on our serving soldiers. We're an all-volunteer organization, led by a dedicated Board of Directors, committed to supporting the regimental family.

Our activities keep the regimental spirit alive and well:

  • Warm Welcome Home: We’re there to greet soldiers returning to Fort York Armoury from exercises and deployments with refreshments and camaraderie.

  • Honoring Our History: We participate in key regimental events like the annual Commemoration of the Battle of Mount Sorrel, our Regimental Anniversary, and Remembrance Week.

  • Staying Connected: Our newsletter has evolved into the annual ICH DIEN Journal, distributed every December to keep all Royals in touch.

  • Building Community: We’re adding new events to our calendar, like rifle range days, to bring our members together.

Looking Ahead:

Your Next Home

We’re on a mission to reconnect with the thousands of Royals who have passed through the doors of Fort York Armoury since the 1970s. Whether you've just retired or have been out for years, we want The Royal Regiment of Canada Association to be your next home—a place where you can continue to be part of our regimental family long after you've hung up your uniform. The Association is committed to providing timely updates to members and advance notice of coming events and ways to participate.

We invite all former members and close friends of the Regiment to join us. Become part of our future and help us continue our legacy.

Once a Royal, Always a Royal
